Let's Make a Junk Journal Folio (Free Printable)

In this video: DIY Folio I showed how I made this sweet folio. There's a link below for the printables I used. They are free to print or download. Please do not share them. Here's how I made it: Step 1 Print the Folio Template on cardstock. I used 65 # brown kraft cardstock. There are light and dark versions of the template. Use the lightest one that shows on your cardstock so the lines aren't obtrusive. Note: the printables don't have the words on them. I just put that up here so you know what goes where. Let's Make Some Junk Journal Bling

I spent this past week thinking of all the ways I can add some sparkle to my journals without spending a lot of money on charms and other fun shiny things. There's something about the narrow workspace that makes it easy to create something beautiful - even if you are new to collaging. Give it a try! The best...

Tips For Using Fragile Old Papers in Your Junk Journal

I have some wonderful old magazine and book pages that I want to use in my junk journals. But some of them are so fragile, they'd fall apart if I put them in as is. I've come up with some ways to make good use of these gems. Here are some of my ideas. Make Stickers Small images from old magazines make wonderful stickers. And, once the images have been turned into stickers, they are super sturdy. Here's a link to the inexpensive (and amazing) sticker maker I use.
